On December 3, 2024, the HKSAR Government and the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) signed the CO-operation Framework Agreement to support Hong Kong in becoming an International hub for high-calibre talents and jointly serving high-level self-reliance in Science and Technology. The signing ceremony included Chief Executive John Lee and CAST President Wan Gang. Following this, Wan Gang led the CAST delegation to Hong Kong Science Park. 

We were pleased to host the CAST delegation at Novostics, where Prof. Dennis Lo introduced the Centre's primary research efforts in non-invasive prenatal testing and early cancer screening, and shared our vision for the future progress in the field. This visit facilitated a valuable exchange of ideas focused on advancing innovative biomedical applications and highlighted opportunities for potential collaboration between the two places.
