Co-organised by the Centre for Novostics and the Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences, CUHK, the seminar titled "An Editor's Perspective on Scientific Publishing" was a resounding success, attracting over 150 participants. We were honoured to have Dr. Laura Zahn, Editor-in-Chief of Cell Genomics and an evolutionary geneticist with extensive publishing experience, to share invaluable insights on preparing scientific papers for journal submission. Intrigued by Dr. Zahn's sharing, the participants engaged actively by raising thought-provoking questions that enriched the discussion. We sincerely thank Dr. Zahn for providing essential practical knowledge that supports professional development.
